In the blue of night the stars shine
Not knowing their strength of light
A glimmer catches a tree
Branches glistening in the mist
The leaves sway in the draft that meanders down the cliff
Engaging a battle with the warm swampy air

Its a new day and plenty of opportunities. Tdae wasnt that bad. Drama was short, very short. We ddi the guy's scene once and only once, which is a record.
Chemistry was fun cause Mr chua taught us Bullean Geometry...no idea how its related to chem...although he explained it to the class.
Felt sleepy in bio lecture, wait, fell asleep in bio lecture. It seems no matter what i do i always fall asleep. Haiz.
GP was a bit irritating. Mr ganesh taught us abt social conscience and that its his job to ' educate us holisticly' its true but its irritating. We didnt get much done though. Just looked at each others' sentences and it was done.
Then went council room did physics, had photo-tsking, drama, did physics, played bball, ran 800m in 2.38mins(40 secs slower than national...18 secs slower than mr yip's target for me), did phy and came home, pretty boring actually.

Lets talk abt something using an analogy.
When a leaf is ready to start growing, it looks to its surroundings for space, it needs its roots to grow and provide nutrients, it needs the stem to transport the nutrients to it, it needs the sun to provide it resources for growth as well. All this is needed just for it to grow. But to what end will it come to, it can die due to withering, weathering, insects will eat it up, birds might sit on the branch and cause it to fall off, it may be shed if the tree is seasonal,it can be harvested if considered valuable to us. All this pitiful endings make growing miserable. So what drives the tree to grow leaves or what drives the leaf to grow? Is it that the tree wants to survive? Is it that the leaf is a source of food to others? Is it that bio-diversity allows the leaf to grow and make life more valuable? Or is it that even the littlest thing that has so much to offer, no matter how bad the end is, is worth having? Lets not burn our days away. Le us not complain that there is so much homework. Always think that outside there are leaves that fall and bugs that die and cars that crash and birds that break their wings. Life is full of love. Life is full of life, do not waste it.

Here's another poem or maybe juz something that flows:

We see ourselves everyday
Drowning in self-pity and sorrow
Why isnt it changing
Shall we wait forever tomorrow

We give ourselves a choice
And yet the choice was never there
It seems so unforgiving
When despair builds in the air

Hey everyone. Arg...its amazing how one can forget to do some things and yet remember to do others. Anywayz got up tdae quite upset cos i didnt do any hw last night. Got to school to find out that i had a physics test but hoorah...it was not counted(mock test).
Then bio lecture was incredible....learned that some Lamarck fella thought giraffes could stretch their necks to make their kids grow longer(.........). After tt had a break. Then had to go for bio tutorial. Slept through most of it( i always seem to do that although i try ma best not to).
Then had another 2 hour break(i love this intensive time-table). Had lunch and then did ma phy wksheet. I cant believe that jason can do it so well. He links almost everything he has learned into every assignment. Well then i had a pw meeting in which i think i gave a bad impression to the teacher. But anyway we had to reschedule for friday. In doing so we were late for maths.
Maths was horrible. Came in and found that i got lowest mark in class together wif Joseph. Quite sad, considering i spent 4 hours trying to study for it! Anyway ms ong was too pissed at the class that she stomped off and didnt come back. Then ben got up and left. I found what he had done to be absolutely fine except that the bell had not rung, and technically he couldnt leave yet, but it was alright. Somehow the class took it badly and stated talking bad abt him. Quite sad. I did what i could of making sense of the question she made us copy, which i was quite successful in, and left the class for the sc room.
Sometimes i fear goin in there cos i remember back in secondary school, whenever i went to the prefects' room i kept playin arnd and hardly studied. I keep feeling that the same thing will happen. But tdae was good, i did lots of work(relative to other days).
First i put ma bag on the floor, then i went to inspect the noticeboard outside to see caresse's progress. I must say she's got some arty blood in her. I stapled the paper properly to the board and made it look more presentble. Then i went back in to(guees what!) do work!! Read through some of the comm's minutes(was quite unhappy with the amount of work they completed so far) then I started wif maths.
Did the whole of tut 10 of which i had only 6 odd questions left. But it took me long cos i didnt know that we had to link all the previous chapters to the current one(referred to Jason's and guess what...he knew how to do it...although Joel 03 knew it as well...maybe its an fmaths thing). That started at abt 4.30. Stopped maths at abt 8. We were listening to music all the way, abt 8 of us in all. Caresse went jogging at some point, found that rather interesting...dun usually see gals running spontaneously. But i'm quite worried abt jason. He had a bit of an episode emotionally, hopes he will handle it well, reminds me of my little escapde in sec sch...so sad.
All in all it was fun although Joel08 was a bit irritating cos he was talking in his usual volume(which was loudhaler volume...cant really blame him...he's got a low voice that drags itself). Cleared up a bit and then did chem. I didnt know that it was so tough. Had to skip a few qns. Packed up and got home(but i did a bit of chem on the train as well). Reached here at abt 20 to 10pm. Now i'm blogging and checkin mai and dwnlding stuff frm e-portal...more maths.

I was thinking tdae thought i'd write a poem:

A little needle sits on the ground
Someone picks it up and throws it down
What is the point in the needle
To sew or to bleed, it's the handler's choice

When the silence becomes too loud
And the track whispers a sound
"Run, come and run" it calls
Pushing me, closer to the falls

Hello everyone. Ok now i promise to do ma best to keep this thing goin. New timetable out tmlo. Hope it works!

Monday, March 08, 2004

Yo what's up everyone! Today was probably the best day i have had in the past three months! School was dismissed at 10.25 but since i skipped a physics tutorial, it ended at 9.10! The morning assembly was quite inspiring although Ganesh spoilt it a bit by shouting at us unnecesarily. Sometimes i feel that that guy should gather up himself andmake a stand about discipline. I felt that if today's assembly did not occur, my morale would be the same low that it has been for some time now. Anyway, I had an OGL meeting today at 10.30 which meant that i had to delay any plans of going out. The meeting was not too bad. Did not get much things done (it was our first meeting)but managed to make a few decisions here and there about various issues.
After the meeting, I followed Asyraf to Hakim's house to get some clothes so that we could play pool. Man u guys should check out his house! There are more than 2 aquariums and an XBOX as well as an amazing Home theatre system! I was shocked. Me and Asyraf left Hakim in his plastic bag shorts and ventures to the MRT station to meet Alfian,Nuri,Amir,Liyana,Mazilla(hope its spelt correctly!)Sharizah and Alfia(not sure abt her spelling either!).The 9 of us took an MRT to Orchard and made our way to Peninsula Plaza. They had their lunch while i played Bounce on Asyraf's handphone. Nuri was depressed for some reason but me and Asyraf cheered him up after a while. Then after lunch, we made our way to Peninsula Sopping Centre. Oh and i forgot to mention, it was raining when we made our way from Orchard MRT to Pen. Plaza and it was still raining when we were making our way to Pen. Shopping Centre. Most of us were wet when we reached the pool tables. It took us at least 10 minutes to find the place! The place was at the basement carpark but we thought it was on the basement floor of shops! But we got it sorted out after feeling confused and embarrassed! When we started playing, we paired ourselves up(in my case, there were three of us in one group) and contested each other on 2 pool tables. My team was doing quite badly so i was relegated to be the coach of Sharizah and Alfia! I felt so disappointed in my day's performance, but nevertheless put up a brave front. We managed to win twice out of the four games played and also managed to leave some footprints on the pool tables. I was absolutely stunned by the way Alfian, Nuri, Asyraf, and Amir played because they informed me earliar that it was only their second or third time playing even though they were putting balls in three at a time! My trainees Alfia and Sharizah were progressing wl until it came to taking shots that were impossible to miss. We called easy shots 'wake up in the morning shots' and normal obvious shots as 'lunch shots'. Apparently the 'lunch shots' were unattainable by either of my trainees which made me depressed to a large extent. Nevertheless, it was their first time playing which was quite an achievement!
After the pooling and stuff, we left to go window shopping(which i just hate) and ended up at Royal sporting house somewhere in Taka. Alfian wanted to buy a shirt but decided against it. We then split up from Taka. Boys going home. Liyana and Mazilla disappearing. Sharizah and Alfia also disappearing. Us guys took the MRT back home. Oh and did i mention that we got wet again during the walk from Pen. Shop Centre to Taka! It was only during the final moments that i remembered to pull out my umbrella from my bag. On my way back home I bought a Cd by Blink 182 which had the song Miss You on it. This is really one good album. Not too much rock and no pop. You gotta luv it!
Alright, this is me signing off to another day of my life!

Hi everyone. Today has been quite fun although it could be much better. I know that i sound pitiful and everything but its true! I woke up and ate breakfast(duh!)and had a bath before plopping my ass on the sofa in front of my 29 inch TV.I watched several cartoons and ende up watching MTV for about an hour. There seems to be this one song that keeps on playing inside my head. The song is Blink 182's Miss You. The lyrics:

Hello there, the angel from my nightmare
the shadow in the background of the morgue
the unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley
we can live like Jack and Sally if we want
where you can always find me
we'll have Halloween on Christmas
and in the night we'll wish this never ends
we'll wish this never ends

(I miss you, miss you)
(I miss you, miss you)

Where are you and I'm so sorry
I cannot sleep, I cannot dream tonight
I need somebody and always
this sick strange darkness
comes creeping on so haunting every time
and as I stared I counted
webs from all the spiders
catching things and eating their insides
like indecision to call you
and hear your voice of treason
will you come home and stop this pain tonight
stop this pain tonight

Don't waste your time on me you're already
the voice inside my head (I miss you, miss you)
don't waste your time on me you're already
the voice inside my head (I miss you, miss you)

Don't waste your time on me you're already
the voice inside my head (I miss you, miss you)
don't waste your time on me you're already
the voice inside my head (I miss you, miss you)

Don't waste your time on me you're already
the voice inside my head (I miss you, miss you)
don't waste your time on me you're already
the voice inside my head (I miss you, miss you)

(I miss you, miss you)
(I miss you, miss you)
(I miss you, miss you)
(I miss you, miss you)

That is a bloody good song. The tune and beat is also fantastic. It has been a long time since i heard such a song. I plan to buy the album with this song on it although i think i might need the money when i go out with my friends(if i still have any)on monday. School finishes at 10.25am. Can u believe that! The principal decided that they would let us off early for once cause(i think)the A Level grades were good or something. See...life dosen't suck all the time!
As i was blah-ing, after MTV, i decided to use the computer to start this blog thingy. The last time i actually tried to have a blog...well lets say it didn't really work out. I'm not really a kind of guy who can focus for extended periods of time. I hope that this blog really works. I went to this site that my friend Alfian recommended to me: http://davesite.com i think. Its got this really great tutorials on how to managa ur blog template and stuff. Then i chatted with some of my friends...you guys should check out Honx's blog, it has all kinds of stuff in it that can one day make him famous. After all that staring at the computer screen, i watched TV again(man i have to get a life). There was some comedy on Cahnnel 5 and some Hindi film about blind people robbing a bank(.........). Man, these hindi film producers need to get a life(look who's talking). Then came my father back from the temple, he is some accountant there so he goes there whnever he is free. His arrival signalled the end of my happiness of being alone at home with nothing to do.
After my bath, I sat down and clipped my nails. Do you know that all kinds of bacteria exist under your fingernails? And that if you keep them for long enough you might actually have a snack?Never mind...that is just me trying to make a joke. Anyway here i am sitting in front of the moniter typing this boring account of a typical Saturday. I wonder if it might actually be worse than a Saturday with Punjabi school. Hmmmmm..... Make your own guess about that!

Alright then, this is me signing off.
P.S. Please say something in my chatterbox, otherwise it will be really bo0ring around here!
Hello everybody. Lets hope this works!
